Delyla Wilson has been an activist and organizer for over 20 years, working for environmental and social justice. Her experience includes action planning, facilitation, providing medical training events, support, and organization at major international anti-globalization protests, and as a Pagan Cluster Affinity Group medic. Delyla is a co-founder of the Montana Medical Collective and helped design training outlines and methodologies to train street medics for major demonstrations. Delyla has provided medical support for many large demonstrations and helped plan and coordinate long running activist campaigns. She serves as a facilitator and organizer within her community. Delyla has a BA in Political Science from the University of Montana with an emphasis on International Development and Non Profit Administration. Excelling at whatever she puts her mind to, Delyla is as excellent a mother as she is a baker as she is an activist and organizer. She co – parents Megan Wilson and is the Program Coordinator for the Skills Tour.
Stan Wilson is a recent Earth Activist Training graduate. Stan has been an activist for 20 years. As a poet, Stan, who writes under the name Dogman, is an active member of the Warrior Poets Society, is frequently published in the Earth First! Journal, online, and has self- published 5 books. Stan has years of experience co-creating workshops and retreats both in the activist community and in Alcoholics Anonymous. Stan has helped plan actions and demonstrations, lead media training events, served as media contact and police liaison and participated in Cop Watch trainings. Stan is experienced in farm animal care, he has operated and maintained irrigation systems, built alternative structures such as pallet fences, and taught these skills to others. Stan has also worked professionally in media as both a well-loved DJ and in TV. He has worked with youth and continues his work in AA. Stan also co-parents Megan Wilson and is the Infrastructure Coordinator for the Skills Tour as well as the driver of the Permibus. .
Megan Wilson was born into activism. She was taken to her first protest when she was only 2 days old. At 18 she is a veteran of Seattle, Quebec City, Minneapolis and other major protests. Most recently Megan took part in a lock-down for an on-going Earth First! campaign in Maine. Her organizing skills began early in life when she hosted “Playing in the Woods” workshops at Earth First! Rendezvous. She has also organized in 4-H and other youth based activities. In the last 3 years she has earned A’s in college classes, a massage therapy license, advanced level bellydance status, a position as the youngest ever Reclaiming Witch Camp teacher, knighthood on the battlefields of Middlehaven, and an Earth Activist Training Permaculture Design Certificate. She is now the Outreach Coordinator and a Co-Teacher for the Skills Tour, traveling the country with her Aussie dog, Sage.
